Overview
Also called the Jiuquan Wind Power Base, a state planned mega project in the wind swept Hexi corridor of Gansu province, the largest cluster of wind capacity on Earth. Built in waves from 2010, its heavy curtailment in the 2010s forced China to build long distance ultra high voltage transmission.
